When it comes to customer service in the retail industry, the first company that everyone thinks of is Nordstrom, and for good reason, they continue to be the gold standard to live up to. There are however other companies doing a terrific job at raising the service bar.
The GAP is one example. Employees appear to be genuinely happy, helpful and honest. Apparently my butt really DID look big in those jeans, but the fit guru’s in the dressing room quickly found me several pairs that were much more flattering. The point is I left feeling terrific about myself and my GAP experience. After all, isn’t that the point?
