Last week I visited the Vadnais Heights, MN Post office where I had the pleasure of meeting Tammy, a long term USPS employee.  She started telling me about how it was personally important to her that she pass along the importance of giving good (and) friendly customer service to new postal service employees.  She also shared how it really bothered her when her co-workers acted indifferent or even rude to customers thinking it didn’t matter how they treated customers. She would tell them why it was important to their future that they treat people to courteous service – with a smile.

Way to go Tammy! Enlightened employees like you can keep the USPS going strong.  Thank you for the good work!
